Software costs

License fees are charged based on the number of computers required for backup. There usually is a fee for the master backup software license as well.

There is no software to purchase. All needed software is provided by Arogo.Net. Fees are based on actual storage space needed.

Service/Support Costs

When backups fail, there usually is a very large expense from having to hire an IT support person to help try and restore this valuable data. In most cases, you end up wasting money when the data is never recovered.

Pay as you grow model – only pay for the storage you use, when you use it. Support is included with service plans.

We use the highest form of security for both transmission, and storage encryption** – same type as the US Government for their most classified information. Files cannot be decrypted/read without the password chosen by you.

Restoration time

Single file minimum restore time = 30 minutes. Restoration is usually left for IT personnel due to the complexity of backup software and hardware.

Secure media format

Non-encrypted media such as CD-ROMs and tapes are very fragile and have the potential to be corrupted, lost, damaged, or even stolen.

Data is encrypted with a password you chose before it leaves your PC/Server; it is then transmitted over an encrypted connection to our servers and stored in its encrypted state.

Reliability

Very easy to forget to perform daily backups. Tapes are unreliable enough and often are unreadable after time.

Backups are Disk-to-Disk. No tapes to become corrupt or faulty. Automated scheduled backups. Data is stored on fault tolerant RAID5 disk arrays for uninterrupted and instantaneous access.
